Field Trips

Introduce your students to many different training facilities.  Students will be introduced to many different construction programs providing them with a thorough understanding of the many aspects of the construction industry and related fields such as architecture, engineering, and surveying to name a few.  Additionally, they will be exposed to green technologies such as green roofs, water barrels, photovoltaic, wind turbine, and geo-thermal technologies.   To schedule a field please contact johnetta@cisco.org

 

“Chicago Builds” Trade Program Launches With New School Year

Noe Ramirez (below)  is excited to be a part of a new program at the Dunbar High School Campus.  The benefits of the program enable students to:
1) Earn industry recognized certification
2) Take part in paid internships, job shadowing and visits to union training centers
3) Prepare for union entrance exams
4) Qualify for apprenticeships
5) Earn high school credit that has real-world value in a subject students are interested in.
