3rd Annual Midwest Prevailing Wage Conference

This year's Midwest Prevailing Wage Conference has been scheduled for May 13th-16th, 2008 and will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

CISCO and its conference partners Illinois AFL-CIO; Teamsters 731 LMCC; Illinois Prevailing Wage Council and the Indiana, Illinois, Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting present this annual event to promote understanding of state and Federal prevailing wage laws.

2008 Legislative Committee

Last year, our Legislative Committee was successful in bringing members from both sides of the table together to cooperatively craft and promote various pieces of legislation, several of which were signed into law.

The Committee is currently determining which legislative issues to focus on. The next meeting of the 2008 Legislative Committee is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2nd. It will be held at the CISCO office at 616 Enterprise Drive in Oak Brook, Illinois
