Metropolitan Family Services (MFS) North Center is recruiting for Cohort 3 of its Illinois Works Bridge to Construction Pre-Apprenticeship program, which runs Sept. 8 – Oct. 30, 2026. This FREE program helps participants become stronger Apprenticeship candidates by preparing for Union aptitude tests and reinforcing what it takes to succeed in the trades — show up early, work hard, be dependable and take pride in your work. Applications are being accepted and interviews are already underway! Take another shot at your future in the Union construction trades!

Whether you’re a student looking to grow, a parent exploring opportunities, or a community member interested in supporting the next generation, UPSTART has a place for you.
